Gloria June Stoeser, 97, a lifelong Harbor resident, died June 21, 2021, at her home in Aberdeen.

Gloria June Stoeser, 97, a lifelong Harbor resident, died June 21, 2021, at her home in Aberdeen. Gloria was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Hoquiam, to Lloyd and Agnes Ryan.

She graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1942 and attended Washington State College.

She was married in 1945 and had two children. She was later divorced and married Clint Stoeser in 1976. He later died in 2010.

She was a legal secretary and worked for Gladys Phillips from 1947 to 1949. For 10 years, when her children were young, she worked part time for many Aberdeen attorneys and all departments in the Aberdeen City Hall. Later, she went to work steady for Schumacher & Charette. She also worked for the State Senate and the Grays Harbor Clothing Bank.

Gloria is survived by a son Bob Reder of Olympia and a daughter, Patricia (Greg) Shields of Aberdeen; a stepdaughter Christine Azola of Idaho; two step-sons: Terry Stoeser of Hadlock and Dennis Stoeser of Aberdeen; a few grandchildren and a few more great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lloydine Graham.

There will be a graveside service for Gloria on Saturday, July 10, at 11 a.m. in Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Washington.
