Gladys Edna McClanahan passed away on Aug. 9, 2022. She was born to Joseph and Florence Myers in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Jan. 20th, 1926. She worked sewing grain sacks at Vancouver Grainery from 1944 to 1946.

On Aug. 10, 1946, Gladys married Robert L. McClanahan in North Vancouver, B.C. They moved to Shelton, Washington in 1950, and then to the Grays Harbor area in 2011.

Gladys is survived by her son Robert and daughter-in-law Merilynn McClanahan of Montesano, Washington; daughters Kathleen McClanahan of Olympia, Washington, and Joanne McClanahan of Lacey, Washington; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, grandson Michael McClanahan and siblings Edith Lindstrom, and Herb and Bill Myers.
