Gary Lynn Eisele, 72, Cosmopolis, Washington, resident and former computer security expert for Standard Insurance Company in Portland, Oregon, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at Riverside Place in Hoquiam, Washington.

Gary was born on April 22, 1946, in Oregon City, Oregon, to Marion and Ruth Agnus (Grassman) Eisele. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1964. He went to Chemeketa Community College and then received his BA in criminal justice from Portland State University.

On March 21, 1970, Gary married Barbara S. Missel in Aberdeen, Washington. They later divorced in 1977 and they remained the best of friends.

Gary worked at Standard Insurance from 1979 until his retirement in 2012.

He enjoyed playing on the Tuesday night bowling league, fishing, playing softball and fast pitch. Spending time with his grandkids and going to their sporting events. He could also be found on the ski slope and golf courses.

He moved to Aberdeen six years ago to be near family.

Gary is survived by his son Chris (Anne) Eisele of Cosmopolis, Washington; brothers: Dennis (Jeanne) Eisele of West Lynn, Oregon, Ken (Julie) Eisele of Oregon City, Oregon and Doug (Mary Jane) Eisele of West Lynn, Oregon; grandchildren: Annika and Hunter Eisele.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. in the Cosmopolis Lions Hall, Cosmopolis, Washington.
