Frank Daniel Karnath, of Washougal, Wash., passed away on Oct. 30, 2018, in Portland, Ore.

Frank Daniel Karnath, of Washougal, Wash., passed away on Oct. 30, 2018, in Portland, Ore. He was 56.

Frank was born in Vancouver, Wash. on Nov. 26, 1961. He grew up in Washougal, Wash. until the age of 14 when his family moved to Aberdeen. When he was 18 he moved back to the Washougal area. Frank loved to fish and hunt, work on cars and work with scrap metal.

He was preceded in death by his brother Glen and his step-father Dale Carson who helped raise him and loved him as if he were his own.

Frank is survived by his parents Allen Karnath of Kennewick, Wash. and Judith Rollins of Hoquiam, Wash.; four sisters: Joyce Jones of Aberdeen, Wash., Julie Karnath and Susan Karnath both of Kennewick, Wash. and Gail Castle of Provo, Utah; three step-sisters: Kathy Warwick of Aberdeen, Wash., Susan Corona of Reno, Nev., and LeAnne Staples of Kent, Wash; also numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Dec. 8, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Alive Church of the Nazarene, 101 S H St. Aberdeen, WA.
