Florence Elaine Van Blaricom, age 89, passed away on May 5, 2021, at Montesano Health and Rehab Center. Florence was born on July 26, 1931, in Aberdeen to Arthur and Florence Ingram.

Florence married Wesley Van Blaricom on Nov. 25, 1949. Florence and Wes celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2014.

Florence loved working in her garden. Florence and Wes had beautiful gardens at their homes and accomplished that beauty with hard work. Many times the family would go on Sunday outings in nature in search of things to use for decorating the gardens. Florence helped Wes with his building projects and was the “office gal” at the small unit motel in Ocean Shores that she and Wes built.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Karen Yakovich (Dennis) of Port Angeles, Washington, granddaughter, Kelsey Quester (Brandon) of Phoenix Arizona and brother, Robert Ingram (Dawn), of Spokane, Washington.

Florence has enjoyed visits from friends and from several of Wes’s relatives stopping by to check in. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Wesley and her parents, Arthur and Florence.

There will be no services.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
