Evelyn (Mickey) May Brummond, passed away March 29, 2018. Mickey was born in Hoquiam, Wash. on May 28, 1919, and graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1937. She relocated to Laguna Woods, Calif. in 2005 to be closer to family in Orange County.
Mickey was actively involved in the Grays Harbor community, volunteering at Grays Harbor Community Hospital and assisting in serving the homeless community. She was also a 60 year member of Calvary Lutheran Church and a longtime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen J. Brummond in 1997 and is survived by her two sons, Roger of Eatonton, Ga. and Jerry of Monarch Beach, Calif. Additionally she has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was loved by many and will be missed by more.
A private memorial was held at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.
