Elaine Francis Imler, 57, lifetime Grays Harbor resident and housewife, passed away at her home in Hoquiam on Aug. 14, 2020.
Elaine was born on April 30, 1963, in Aberdeen to Chester and Francis Jonason. She grew up in Cosmopolis and graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1981. She then got her business degree from Grays Harbor College.
She worked at JC Penney for many years and worked her way up to assistant manager. She went to work for Kyle Imler in 2000 and on June 2, 2001, she married him at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.
Elaine loved animals, walks on the beach, her flowers and trying to raise tomatoes and keeping them away from the deer.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Judge Kyle Imler of Hoquiam, and a sister, Judy Bartok of California. She was preceded in death by a sister Eileen.

A celebration of Elaine’s life will be held when all can attend.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
