Dylan Renee Foss-Rupp was born at 7:07 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, to the adopted mother, Nichelle Foss-Rupp at Regional Medical Center. Baby girl Dylan was 4 lbs 12 oz. and 15 inches long.

She lived 17 hours held and loved by Nichelle Foss, Madison Smiley and nursing staff. Baby Dylan was born was a fatal birth defect and expected to pass away shortly after birth. Dr. Todd, in her due diligence, called specialists from Children’s Hospital. But there was nothing that could be done.

The fatal and anomaly is called anencephally, a neural tube defect that occurs in early pregnancy. Both father and daughter were placed together at Harrisons Mortuary. They are together in eternal piece.

Baby Dylan Renee Foss-Rupp is preceded in death by her adopted father Dylan Rupp, who passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2023. Surviving family is adopted mom Nichelle Foss-Rupp, siblings; Alexander Morris, Wyatt Holland and Marley Collins.
