Doris Irene Rosenbach

Doris Irene Rosenbach was born to Carl and Anna Lofgren on Dec. 27, 1927, on the family farm outside Elma, Washington.

Doris Irene Rosenbach was born to Carl and Anna Lofgren on Dec. 27, 1927, on the family farm outside Elma, Washington. She attended White Star School through the eighth grade and then went to Elma High School, graduating in 1946.

Her first job was at the Federal Land Bank in Elma where she met her future husband, Bob Rosenbach.

Doris and Bob were married at the family farm on Bush Creek on Feb. 21, 1957. They built a house in Elma and lived there until 1972, when they sold it to build a house on Bob’s dad’s farm in Brady. She lived there for the next 50 years, lovingly tending her gardens and her family until Jesus took her home on April 1, 2022.

She leaves behind two sons, Harold and J Rosenbach; grandchildren: Melinda Bortis, Megan Wilson, Ben Rosenbach, Kerry Rosenbach, Shannon Wilson, Amy Preyer and Jeremy Rosenbach; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob and son Dennis.

A celebration of her life will be held this Saturday, April 9, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam at 1 p.m.
