In loving memory of Donna Marie Jennings who passed away peacefully in her home on Aug. 13, 2016, after a long, courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Born in Mandan, N.D., to Harold and Rose (Haag) Mollett on April 3, 1937. Donna moved with her family to Aberdeen, Wash., where she lived out her life.
On April 23, 1960, she married the love of her life, David Jennings. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage together. They were blessed with two children, Tami and David Jr. (DJ).
Donna worked as a clerk for grocery stores: Malstroms, SuperValue, Thriftway, and Swanson’s; pharmacies: Pay N’ Save, Payless, and Rite-Aid.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Delores (Sackrider), Marilyn (Reed), Charles and Clifford Mollett. Survived by her husband David, children Tami (Larry) Oliver and David (Kris) Jennings Jr.; grandchildren Chantal, Chandler, and Ally Jennings; great-grandchildren Derek and Lynzi Rose Jennings. She also leaves siblings Geraldine (Dick) Bailey, Judy (Richard) Walker, Roy (Karol) Mollett, Rose Mary (Keith) Delzer, and a special sister Pat (Mollett) Lott as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donna was a passionate woman who gave generously of her time and was first in line to help anyone and everyone. She will be missed.
Memorial services will be held on Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 516 E. 1st Street. A Celebration of life will follow immediately at Rotary Log Pavilion, 1401 Sargent Blvd.
