Donna Lee Hensel, 65, Aberdeen resident and former Medical Records Technician for nursing homes in the Long Beach area, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her home in Aberdeen, Wash.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1952, in Rochester, N.Y. to Robert ‘Whitey’ and Ramona (Gove) Wollschleger. At the age of two they moved to Olympia where Donna graduated from Olympia High School in 1972. She moved to Long Beach, Wash. soon thereafter.

On Oct. 1, 1988, Donna married Mark Joseph Hensel in Ocean Park, Wash. and they moved to Aberdeen where she remained until her passing. She enjoyed going to casinos and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her husband of 29 years, Mark Hensel of Aberdeen; twin sisters: Teresa Davidson of Seattle and Dianna Monroe of Aberdeen; nieces and nephews: Kaylee Sinem, Kourtney Sinem and Micheal Monroe; great-niece and nephew: Julio and Juliana Hernandez. She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Sinem in 2016.

There will be a funeral service for Donna on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 1 p.m. in Fern Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Wash.
