Diane K. Beckley

Diane K. Beckley died March 5, 2023. Born in Seattle November 12, 1947 to parents John and LaVerne Beckley. She was true to the Northwest culture as a sailor, skier, hiker, golfer and lover of the outdoors.

Diane had a successful 30-year career and rose to the position of Marketing Director for PEMCO Financial Center. She volunteered as President of Hospice of Seattle and was a major fund raiser. She was involved in Junior Achievement and won the Volunteer of America award in 1991 for her dedicated service to her community.

In addition to her career at PEMCO, Diane was a successful investor in Real Estate and retired at age 51. In retirement she traveled the globe and continued a life long commitment to serving her community. She led the mayor’s election campaign in Ocean Shores, served as president of numerous organizations, helped preserve the Weather Wax Trails and participated in stopping oil tankers from coming into Grays Harbor. She remained politically active even as her health failed.

Diane is survived by her partner of 37 years, Jennifer Brouwer, brother Dennis Beckley and his wife Barbara, nephew Michael Beckley and wife Silvana and their children Sofia and Kai.

Celebration of life will be June 24, 2023 at Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle.
