Diana L. Jones

Diana Leslie Jones of Elma, passed away Dec. 28, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Diana was born in McCleary, Wash. April 26, 1967, graduated with honors from Elma High School in 1985 and worked as an independent bookkeeper for clients including Schumacher Electric and ShuJack’s Bar and Grill.

Diana Leslie Jones of Elma passed away Dec. 28, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. Diana was born in McCleary, Wash., April 26, 1967, graduated with honors from Elma High School in 1985 and worked as an independent bookkeeper for clients including Schumacher Electric and ShuJack’s Bar and Grill.

Diana had a great love and passion for her family and close friends along with her dogs and cats. She also had a great passion for photography.

Diana is survived by her mother Marie Jones; siblings, Greg (Barb) Jones, Angela (Stan) Watkins, Bruce Jones, Ron (Bobbye) Jones and Carol (Shawn) Green. The most special people of her life were her nieces and nephews, Bethany (Matt) Ferrier, Russel (Danielle) Jones, Brannon Jones, Josselyn Green, Hanna Green and Kariann (Eli) Jimenez and her great nieces and nephews Chace, Taryn, Sophie, and Miles. She is proceeded in death by Marvin Jones (father), Chayson Jones (great-nephew), Perry and Anna Graves (grandparents) and Zana Crosswaite (grandmother).

A gathering will be held at the Elma Methodist Church (Educational Building), 502 W Young St at 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, to celebrate Diana’s life. To honor her, flannels, sweatshirts, and blue jeans are welcome attire.

Diana loved kids and wanted the very best for all of them. Diana will have a lasting legacy of hope and healing as an organ and tissue donor.
