Delores “Dee” Benn Bisher of South Bend, Washington passed away on May 5, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington.

She was born on Jan. 24, 1952, to Eugene and Cora Benn. In 1971 she married George Glowacki in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Shortly after getting married they moved to Binghamton, New York and lived there until 1980, when she moved to Grays Harbor with her three kids, Jeanny, Lora and John. Dee worked at many different places, including security for the SouthShore Mall, Pacific Care Nursing Home as a cook, in the kitchen at Stafford Creek Corrections Center and cooking for the Westport VFW.

Dee loved being in the outdoors, hiking with her daughter Jeanny, camping, fishing, reading books, and crocheting while watching TV. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She loved all her grandkids very much.

Dee is survived by her husband of 32 years Robert Bisher of South Bend, Washington, her daughter Jeanny and Lee Leverett of Colville, Washington; daughter Lora Duncan of Butte, Montana; her son John and Liza Glowacki of Aberdeen, Washington; her stepson Michael and Tennelle Bisher of Aberdeen, and Chrissy Carr of Lacy, Washington along with many other kids that needed a place to live when they were teenagers or young adults. She is also the proud grandma to 14 grandkids, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed greatly by us all.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Cora Benn, stepson Robert Bisher Jr., her brother David Benn, sister Donna Hanson and grandson Austin Duncan.

Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend to all. We will miss her love and smiles.

A celebration of life is yet to be planned.
