Amy Leigh Pettis of Hoquiam died Friday, July 7, 2023, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 45.

She had worked as a cashier at Swanson’s for 21 years.

A celebration of life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Red Cedar Vasa Hall in Hoquiam. Food and drink will be served.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Toni L. Maritima

Former Aberdeen resident Toni Louise Maritima of Olympia died Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 59.

Arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives of Washington in Tumwater.

Carol J. Wentzel

Longtime Cosmopolis resident Carol June Wentzel died Monday, July 24, 2023, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. She was 88.

She had owned and operated a daycare from her home for many years.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Aberdeen’s Fern Hill Cemetery.

Kenneth J. Hight

Kenneth James Hight of Oakville died Thursday, July 20, 2023. He was 62.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Clifford J. Hansmann

Longtime Montesano resident Clifford James Hansmann, a former self-employed oil distributor, died Monday, June 12, 202,3 at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. He was 95.

No formal services have been scheduled.
