Ronald J. Matsen

A memorial service for Pacific Beach resident Ronald James Matsen, who died Dec. 17, 2022, at the age of 86, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the Pacific Beach Fire Hall, followed by a potluck.

Carol M. Sycks

Carol Marie Sycks, a resident of Lebam for 42 years, died Friday, May 12, 2023, at home. She was 81.

In Edmonds, Carol had worked as a legal secretary and had managed the Monroe Monitor Newspaper.

A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday, June 3, at the Lebam Community Church. The service time will be announced later.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

John C. Jensen

John Christian Jensen of Aberdeen died Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at home. He was 60.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
