Longtime Aberdeen resident Timothy Joe Compton, a former welder and fabricator, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at home. He was 79.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Fern Hill Funeral Home’s chapel followed by a graveside service at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.
