Charles “Charlie” Henry Sipila, 75, a lifetime Aberdeen resident and former self-employed fisherman, died on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen.

A full obituary will be published on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Leona V. Russell

McCleary resident Leona Violet Russell died Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma. She was 93.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Dorothy Ann (Cox) Brewer

Dorothy Ann (Cox) Brewer of Aberdeen died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 85.

She had worked for Hoquiam Veneer and as a bookkeeper for Al Dick Trucking, Inc.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday, Jan. 30, at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam. A vault interment will follow at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

Arrangements are pending at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
