CHEHALIS — Former Quinault resident Dale Victor Esses of Chehalis died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at home. He was 70.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano.

Arrangements are by Newell-Hoerling’s Mortuary of Centralia.

Jean Aronson

Former Harbor resident Jean Aronson of Puyallup died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, in Puyallup. She was 76.

She had worked for Oval Strapping in Hoquiam during the 1980-90s.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Countrydale Estates Clubhouse in Puyallup.

Peter G. Hegg

SEATTLE — Peter Gordon Hegg, longtime educator and retired principal of Hoquiam High School, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

He taught at Hoquiam High School and served as vice-principal and athletic director, before moving to Eatonville in 1976 to take the position of principal at Eatonville High School. In 1982, he returned to Hoquiam to become the principal of his alma mater, Hoquiam High School, retiring in 1994.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, Sept. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
