Betty L. Gordon

ELMA — Betty Lou Gordon, age 85, died in her Elma home on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021.

She had volunteered at her local church food bank, even after she stopped driving a few years ago.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov.7 . A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at the Lake Quinault Cemetery.

James A. ‘Big Jim’ Nelson

James Allen “Big Jim” Nelson of Aberdeen died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at home. He was 58.

He was a journeyman steel worker.

A funeral will be held at noon, Saturday, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Aberdeen.
