Spencer E. Stamper

OLYMPIA — Spencer Eugene Stamper, welder for pulp and paper machinery, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, in Olympia. He was 84.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam.

Services are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

John A. Bickar

John Alan Bickar, a lifetime resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at home. He was 58.

He was a firefighter for Hoquiam Fire Department from 1986 until his retirement in 2018 and retired as a captain.

A celebration of his life is being planned and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Barry Briggs, a 78-year-old resident of Aberdeen, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

Kenneth Peter Baratta, a 85-year-old resident of Hoquiam, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital Aberdeen.

Thomas Plotner

ELMA — Thomas S. Plotner, a 64-year old-resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at Summit Pacific Medical Center.

Russell O. Aleshire

Russell Oden Aleshire of Hoquiam died Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 58.
