Lillian Matheson

SEATTLE — Lillian Matheson, a lifetime resident of Grays Harbor, died on July 18, 2021, at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She was 93.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Oct. 2, 2021, at Saron Lutheran-First Presbyterian Church in Hoquiam.

Memorials can be made to the Saron Lutheran Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 517, Hoquiam, WA 98550.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Sheryl E. Sjogren

Sheryl Evelyn Sjogren, a longtime resident of East Hoquiam, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at home. She was 73.

She was a alcohol and drug counselor. She owned and operated Chance for Change in Longview, a recovery center, and later worked at Starting Point.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 2, at the Wishkah Valley Community Church.

Contributions are suggested to Wishkah Valley Community Church or Wishkah Fire District 10.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Chi R. Huang

Chi Ru Huang of Ocean Shores died Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 102.

Further burial arrangements will be by Grant Miller Funeral Home in Oakland, California.

Local arrangements were by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen and Montesano.

McCLEARY — Lola Mae Raphael of McCleary died at home on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. She was 77. Arrangements are pending through Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Hoquiam resident Kathy S. Hoover died Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 68.
