A celebration of life for former Hoquiam resident Frances Eula (Dressel) Thompson, who died June 1, 2020, in Loveland, Ohio, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the Dressel family gravesite at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

A memorial service with military honors, celebration of life and potluck for Aberdeen resident James Neeley, who died Oct. 22, 2020, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Cosmopolis Lions Club.

OLYMPIA — Alexander “Frank” Warren Sr., a 70-year-old resident of Elma, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

Dr. Leonard E. Nixon

OLYMPIA — Dr. Leonard Edward Nixon of Montesano died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 86.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

A memorial service and interment for Aberdeen resident David Joseph Helland, who died July 14, at home, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in Federal Way. Food and fellowship will follow the service and details will be announced at a later date.

Vera Lee Wyninger of Hoquiam died at home Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021. She was 81.

Roberta Kielene West of Cosmopolis died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at Montesano Health and Rehab. She was 93.
