Carol Jean Owings

Carol Jean Owings of Hoquiam died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital. She was 78.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen and Montesano.

Tony A. Redifer

Tony Aubrey Redifer died Saturday, July 31, 2021, in Hoquiam He was 71.

The family is planning a private celebration of his life to be held at a later time.

Cremation arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Allen J. Bruun

Allen James Bruun, age 79, a resident of Hoquiam, died on August 5, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 79.

He taught for the Hoquiam School district from 1993 to 2004.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Saron Lutheran Church in Hoquiam.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Robert D. Shortt

Robert Douglas Shortt died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021. He was 86.

He taught history, economics and world problems at Aberdeen High School and was a member of the Aberdeen City Council for 12 years.

A gathering to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
