Michael Patrick McMeekin

Due to the COVID virus, the celebration of life for Michael McMeekin has been canceled. He died Aug. 18, and the celebration had been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 29, outdoors in Montesano.

Details of his memorial service will be announced next year when it is safe to gather again.

Peggy N. Nixon

Peggy Noreen Nixon, a pharmacist and long-time Aberdeen resident, died Thursday Aug. 19, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 96.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Thomas G. Myers

Thomas Glade Myers of Oakville died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021. He was 74.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen and Montesano.
