Alvin “Junior” Spalding

A celebration of life and potluck is planned for 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Cosmopolis Lions Club for Aberdeen resident Alvin “Junior” Spalding. Junior died on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Montesano Health and Rehab due to complications from a stroke he suffered on May 18. Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Richard A. “Dick” Norris

Richard “Dick” Arlen Norris, 80, a resident of Humptulips, died Monday, July 26, 2021, at home in Humptulips.

He started his logging career as a teenager with his father in California falling some of the Redwood trees for the new I-5 Highway. He moved to Washington State in the early ’60s and started Norris Logging Company and continued logging until about 2010.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Cosmopolis Lions Club on Aug. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

James B. Campbell Jr.

James Bruce Campbell Jr of Aberdeen, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021. He was 69.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen and Montesano.

Theressa “Terri” Swanson

Theressa “Terri” Ann Swanson, 72, died Friday Aug. 6, 2021, at her home in Hoquiam.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
