A memorial service for Montesano resident John Proctor, who died June 19, in Montesano, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at the County Estates Clubhouse on Clemons Road in Montesano.

A memorial gathering for Aberdeen resident George Leonard Salmi Jr., who died May 26, at home, will be held Saturday, July 31, at the Aberdeen Elks Club No. 593. A Luncheon to begin at noon, followed by a celebration of his life and a social gathering.

The family suggests donations to Grays Harbor Fire District No. 2, PAWS of Grays Harbor or the Aberdeen Elks No. 593.

Lovella Marlys Lalka of Hoquiam died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 83.

She will be laid to rest during private services at Wynoochee Cemetery.
