Merritt A. Miller

Longtime Hoquiam resident Merritt Allen Miller died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 72.

He worked at local mills and would later return to Grays Harbor College where he became a machinist. He finished his last working years at the age of 65 as a log truck driver, primarily with Lutton Trucking.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam

A graveside service with military honors will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
