Carey Richard McDowell, 27-year resident of Hoquiam, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 69.

Elis Ray Woodard of Hoquiam died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 59.

Ronald P. Moon

ALLYN — Former Hoquiam resident Ronald Paul Moon of Mason Lake died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, in Allyn. He was 85.

He had worked as a carpenter for Quigg Brothers and Rognlin’s Construction and had owned and operated Ron Moon Construction, retiring in 1997.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

A graveside service with military honors will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
