Gerald N. Guiles

OLYMPIA — Gerald Norman Guiles, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 85.

He had worked as a welder and machinist for Blagen’s mill prior to working at Lambs Grays Harbor.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel.

Kenneth Utheim

Montesano resident Kenneth Utheim died Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 87.

Arrangements are by McComb & Wagner Funeral Home in Shelton.

Donald D. Hayes

Grayland resident Donald Darrell Hayes Grayland, a self employed plumber in Grayland and California, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, at Grays Harbor Health & Rehab Center in Aberdeen. He was 82.

There will be no services and he will be inurned at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen with his wife Jean Hayes.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Gary L. Hanes

Ocean Shores resident Gary Lee Hanes, a 16-year resident of Ocean Shores, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 76.

A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Ocean Shores Baptist Church.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
