Belinda F. Hayes, 69 years of age and a resident of Ocean Shores, Washington died on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at Providence Saint Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was born on April 30, 1950, in Sunnyside, Washington.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam. A celebration of her life will be held later at the Copalis Beach Community Church.

Helen Carol Flemetis, a longtime Raymond resident died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020 at Puget Sound Healthcare Center in Olympia; she was 92. She was born Jan. 27, 1927 to Eric and Ethel (Kitchell) Peterson in Adna, Washington.
A graveside service is being held Wednesday, Jan. 8 1 p.m. at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo.

Donna Lea Chase, age 88, a lifetime resident of the Harbor, died on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam.
Donna began her professional career working for Zelasko Law office. In the mid 1960’s, she worked for Omar Parker. Since much of her time was spent working on city business, she made the transition to working full time for the City of Hoquiam in June of 1984, where she remained until retiring in October of 1996.
A private urn committal service will take place at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Melba Jean Whitehall of Montesano died Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 93. Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.

Kathleen M. “Kathy” (Ask) Short, 67, died on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She was born on Aug. 22, 1952, in Aberdeen to Delbert Eugene and Norma Jean (Ask) Finch.
Kathy and Fred owned and operated Fred’s Auto Body in Hoquiam.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at the Aberdeen Rotary Log Pavilion.
