Marcia Cowles

Hoquiam resident Marcia J. Cowles died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen. She was 91.

She had worked as a caregiver.

Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Frankin Butz

OLYMPIA — Franklin J. Butz, lifetime Raymond resident, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 73.

Memorial services will be announced in a full obituary at a later date.

Alice R. Nunez

McCLEARY — Alice Rebecca Nunez of McCleary died Monday, Dec. 31 2018, at home. She was 76.

James Leggett

BURIEN — James R. Leggett of Montesano died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, in a Burien hospital. He was 86.

He taught math at Aberdeen High School from 1960-1990.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Montesano Presbyterian church.
