Jack Thompson

Cosmopolis resident Jack R Thompson, president of the Port of Grays Harbor Commissioners, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, in Santiago, Chile, following an accident while at a meeting for the American Association of Port Authorities. He was 81.

Services are being planned and a full obituary will follow in The Daily World.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Helen L. Eklund

A services for longtime Aberdeen resident Helen Louise Eklund, who died Oct. 5 in Centralia, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. A reception will follow in the church parish hall.

Memorials may be made to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church of Aberdeen.

Joan M. Hendricks

Joan Maxine Hendricks, a 40-year resident of the Harbor, died at her home in Aberdeen, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. She was 80.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the chapel at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen followed by a reception in the fellowship hall at the River of Life Church in South Aberdeen.

Barbara A. Hamilton

Lifelong Aberdeen resident Barbara Ann Hamilton died at home Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, following a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 57.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Harbor City Church in Aberdeen.
