Jean L. Lauerman

STANWOOD – Former Montesano resident Jean Leslie Lauerman of Stanwood died Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. She was 91.

She had worked as the receptionist in the office of her husband, Ken, who was an optometrist.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at The Beachwood Chapel at Warm Beach Senior Community Center in Stanwood.

ELMA — Gail Margaret Kendall died Friday, Nov. 25, 2017, at his Elma home. He was 79.

OLYMPIA — Former Ocean Shores resident and veteran James Gunnar Franson died Monday, Nov, 27, 2017, at his Olympia home. He was 64.

OLYMPIA — James Alvin Coon of Ocean Shores died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 82.

Elizabeth “Betty” Passick

Longtime Hoquiam resident Elizabeth “Betty” Passick died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at a local nursing home.

She graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1938 and worked in offices in Seattle and Grays Harbor, retiring from the Grays Harbor PUD in 1982.

Private inurnment will be held at the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
