Carolyn Edith Erickson

Carolyn Edith (Sutton) Erickson, a longtime resident of the Wishkah Valley, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, at her home. She was 87.

She had worked for the Wishkah Valley School as a preschool teacher and had worked as an aide in Special Ed until 1998.

A graveside service and dedication of the grave was held at St. John’s Cemetery in the Wishkah Valley and a luncheon followed at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Francis Edward Ryno

Francis Edward Ryno, a former truck driver and Grays Harbor resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, in Palestine, Texas. He was 86. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Satsop Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
