Jerry Garity

Jerry Garity died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at his home in Aberdeen. He was 79.

Jerry worked at Aloha Lumber until he joined the U.S. postal service where he was a letter carrier for over 30 years.

A service in August is being planned and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam.

OCEAN SHORES — Longtime Ocean Shores resident Gene Leatha Woodwick, died Sunday, May 4, 2017, at his home. He was 77.

A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1200 Soule Ave., Hoquiam.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home of Aberdeen.

Lael C. Hyvonen

Lael Christine Hyvonen, Hoquiam resident and cashier at Simpson Street 7-11, died Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home in Hoquiam. She was 25.

There will be a memorial service on Monday, June 19, at 3 p.m. at Fern Hill Funeral Home.

WESTPORT — Ruth G. Hamrick-Wheeler, Westport resident and seamstress, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at her home in Westport. She was 79.

Per her request, there will be no services.

BURIEN — Claudia Rapisardo, a Raymond resident, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at the Highline Medical Center in Burien. She was 65.

No services will be held at this time.

Creamtion are in care of Stoller’s Morutary of Raymond.
