Robert Leonard Brock

Robert Leonard Brock, an Aberdeen resident and former truck driver, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 72.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at Fern Hill Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the chapel of Fern Hill Funeral Home chapel followed by burial with military honors at Satsop Cemetery at 1 p.m.

Albert Lee ‘Butch’ Robinett

Albert Lee “Butch” Robinett, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at Capital Medical Center in Olympia. He was 74.

He began working at the age of 14, initially with Graham Shake at Copalis Crossing, then became a partner of Wright-Robinett Trucking for a little over five years. He then began driving log truck for Dave Williams, retiring after 28 years.

A private family gathering will be held later.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary.
