Dale A. Newlun

Former Hoquiam resident Dale Allen Newlun died Monday, May 13, 2024. He was 67.

He served in the U.S. Army for two years.

He had worked as a heavy machinery operator, a powder monkey, a sawyer, a timber faller, and most recently was a river and fishing tour guide in Alaska.

A celebration of life and potluck will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Hoquiam VFW.

Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Samuel Oliver Hutchinson, 76, of Montesano, died, Monday, May 27, 2024, at home.
