Carol Ruth Hakala died, Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 in Lakewood. She was 77.

There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A committal service will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. in Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen.

Brian Ray Watson, 47, of Aberdeen, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at Tacoma General Hospital.

Delbert Edward Willis, a 79-year-old resident of Humptulips, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023.

Tony Jones Holden, a longtime resident of Aberdeen and former musician, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, at home. He was 62.

Jess ‘Steve’ S. Summers

Longtime Aberdeen resident Jess “Steve” Stephen Summers, a former millwright, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 75.

At his request, no services will be held. Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
