Olis ‘Shorty’ Adkin

Olis “Shorty” Adkins, age 85, a longtime resident of Humptulips, died Saturday, April 26, 2025, at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale.

He was a shake sawyer in the area.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Humptulips Valley Church. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard and the Aberdeen VFW.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Bruce Charles Fox died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at his home in Ocean Shores at the age of 70.
