Russell E. Sipe of Aberdeen died in September 2022. He was 73.

Vester E. Rothell

McCleary resident Vester Elvin “Granddaddy” Rothell died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022. He was 92.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

James H. Westby

Copalis Beach resident James Howard Westby died Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, in Hoquiam. He was 77.

He had worked for the Washington State Department of Fisheries and the Aberdeen Police Department before working with his father in a sawmill.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Copalis Beach Community Church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Copalis Beach Community Church or to North Beach Medical Equipment (NBME.care).

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
