Laura Lea Tackett, 65, a Hoquiam resident died in her home on Sept. 4, 2022. A full obituary will print at a later date. Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.

Olympia — Eric Brett Snell, 55, of Aberdeen, died at Providence St. Peters Hospital on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Shawn Shapansky

Shawn Shapansky, age 40, a resident of Elma, died on Sept. 10, 2022, at Harbor Regional Hospital in Aberdeen.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at the family home, 21 Buckingham Lane, Elma, WA.

A private urn committal at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Joyce Pittack

Joyce M. Pittack, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died on Sept. 12, 2022, in Aberdeen.

She had worked as a bank teller, and drove school bus for the Hoquiam School District and worked as a beautician.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2515 Sumner Avenue, Aberdeen, WA.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
