Deanna Lynn Pearson, 51, a resident of Ocean Shores, died at her home Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was born in Pullman, Washington, Nov. 15, 1968, the daughter of Robert I. and Mary Ann (Stassinis) Pearson.

Deanna came to Hoquiam with the family and graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1987. She secured her AA degree from Grays Harbor College in 1990. She had worked in a pet store in Bothell and as a secretary in a law office in Seattle, but mostly worked in accounting. She lived in Ballard for 10 years and enjoyed the local music, folk and Nordic activities. She returned to the Harbor in 2018, and was working at the Morning Glory Motel in Ocean Shores as an accountant and counter receptionist until the time of her death.

She liked to cook, read, watch movies, hike, do needlepoint and making a home for her cat “Bella”. She was an excellent host and had an eye for interior decorating. She had a generous heart and would often send gifts home with visitors.

Deanna is survived by her parents: Robert and Mary Ann Pearson of Grays Harbor City in Hoquiam; and a brother, Mark Pearson, of Richland, Washington.

There will be no memorial gathering at this time.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.
