DeAnn Lynn Mills, 72, Copalis Crossing resident and former bank teller, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Harbor Regional Health Communtiy Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington.

DeAnn was born on May 8, 1950, in Baudette, Minnesota to Melvin and Cora (Bredeson) Aldridge. At the age of 14, her family moved to Renton, Washington where she graduated from Renton High School. She went to work for Washington Natural Gas Company in Seattle and Bellevue as a secretary and also inventory controller.

In 1982, DeAnn married Greg Mills in Renton. He resides at the family home.

In 1997, they moved to Ocean Shores for 3 years and then to Copalis Crossing.

DeAnn worked as a teller for Bank of the Pacific for over 15 years at the Ocean Shores, Taholah and Pacific Beach branches.

She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening and nature. She loved being with her grandkids, playing cards and just being with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Greg Mills of Copalis Crossing; a son Justin (Natalie) Mills of Hoquiam; two daughters: Kelly Woolfolk of Ellensburg, Washington and Shawna (Wes) Johnson of Hoquiam; and three grandchildren: Jordyn Mills, Brayden Mills and Emmett Johnson. She was preceded in death by two sisters Shirley Jenson and Muriel Day.

There will be no services.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
