Loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Dean Michael Stott Jr., peacefully passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was 44 years old. Dean was born on May 3, 1977, to Mike and Milissa Stott in Killeen, Texas.

While growing up, Dean spent some of his childhood in Lake Quinault until later moving to Aberdeen where he graduated from Aberdeen Weatherwax High School in 1996. Out of high school, Dean worked for Suncorp Supply for a few years up until he was able to go work for the family logging company, Stott Logging Inc., as a pilot vehicle operator.

Dean was a part of the Grays Harbor County Pool League and competed in many pool tournaments, which he very much enjoyed. He also had many hobbies such as fishing, playing video games with his nephew and cousins, and he loved cooking for his family. He always made sure everyone had a full belly. Above all of these, Dean loved nothing more than spending time with his nephew, Kaden. The bond and friendship they shared was very strong.

Dean is survived by his parents, Mike and Milissa Stott of Montesano; brothers: Brandon (Cassandra) Stott of Montesano, Aaron (JoAnna) Stott of Aberdeen and Talon (Carlie) Stott of Metarie, Louisiana; sister, Tess (Christian) Bramstedt of Aberdeen; grandparents, Lucille Stott and Sharon Bravos as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Dean Stott, Lois Tisdale and George Bravos.

Any memorials to be made in honor of Dean Stott Jr. may be made to a charity of your choice.

There will be a public viewing at Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market St. in Aberdeen on Friday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. The family would like to invite everyone who knew Dean to come to a celebration of life on Saturday, Nov. 13 starting at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 2008 Sumner Ave., Aberdeen.
