David Carl Brudvik passed away at his home in Aberdeen, surrounded by his family, on Sept. 14, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born on May 21, 1966, in Aberdeen to parents, Ken and Pam (Russell) Brudvik.
Growing up, David was a member of the Little League and Babe Ruth baseball teams and also enjoyed being on the swim team. He attended McDermoth Grade School and graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1984. While in high school, David worked at Pietro’s Pizza. After graduation, he went to work for Niemi’s Drywall in Aberdeen. He later moved to Seattle and became an employee at the Pay And Save Warehouse before securing a position with Packaging Corp of America as a sample maker in the design department. David enjoyed his work and all of the wonderful people he worked with. He took great pride in his physical fitness, often going to the gym four times a week and participating in half and whole marathons, which brought him great happiness and a sense of purpose. David was a great cook and enjoyed trying out new recipes and sharing them at family get-togethers.
David’s family was the center of his world. He leaves behind his best friend and sister, Jacque; parents, Ken and Pam Brudvik; uncles, Dale Brudvik, Len (Kim) Brudvik, Bill (Jennifer) Russell, and Kenneth (Patty) Russell.
Loved ones that preceded him in death are grandparents, Carl and Celia Brudvik, Jack and Shirley Russell, and Uncle Walter and Aunt Rose.
