David Alan Gire, born June 20, 1952, in Redlands, Calif. passed away from Cancer at his home in Enumclaw, Wash. on March 5, 2017.

He attended Hopkins Jr. High, Weatherwax High School and graduated from Alameda California High School. He was also a graduate of Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.

He is survived at the family home by his wife of 40 years, Beverly; his mother Petie Gire of Hoquiam; his sisters and brothers in-law Emily and Tim Duerfeldt, Jeannene and Tim Duggin; four nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Milton L. Gire.
