Coralie Jean Williams, 92 years of age, went home to be with the Lord in peace on Oct. 14, 2020.

Coralie Jean Williams, 92 years of age, went home to be with the Lord in peace on Oct. 14, 2020. Coralie was born on July 4, 1928, in Winona, Minnesota, to Genevieve (Ellison) Dondelinger and William J. Dondelinger. She graduated from the Winona High School. On Oct. 11, 1947, Coralie Jean Dondelinger married Roger Earl Williams. Coralie and Roger moved to Aberdeen, Washington, along with their children in July of 1965.

Coralie worked at Grays Harbor Community Hospital and soon became the secretary of Calvary Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. She served there for 27 years and retired in 2001. Coralie was involved with the church in many ways, and she poured everything into her job and her church home. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in the church choir and along with musicals. Coralie loved the arts, classic movies and was an avid reader. Coralie loved to sew and was a phenomenal baker. Her baking was legendary at church potlucks and family gatherings. She made many dresses and clothes for her children and grandchildren.

Family and church gatherings were Coralie’s happiest of times, being around people, and sharing her faith and family’s joy. She loved the trips she took with Pastor Pete and his wife, Ellen, and her church family. She collected spoons from all her world travels. Coralie especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her later years, battling dementia, she would light up when she would see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Coralie is survived by her children: Jeffery L. Williams. Gayle Wade (Loren) and Gordon Williams (Toni); five grandchildren: Jason Williams, Amy Harris (Tanner), Genny Boyle (Bob), Reese Wade (Kelsey) and Tanner P. Williams;10 great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Coralie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, her brother, Roger Dondelinger and her children, Christina, Carl and Laura Beth Williams.

A family memorial and interment will occur at a future date. Those who wish may make memorials to the Calvary Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 1957, Aberdeen, Washington 98520.
