Christopher (Chris) Lawrence Murray passed away on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, in his home in Port Angeles, Wash. Chris was born Sept. 28, 1961, in Port Angeles to Mona and Edward Murray.

Chris graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1979. He then attended Grays Harbor College and obtained an AA degree. He went on to receive a bachelor’s in psychology from Central Washington University and started his graduate studies at City University and St. Martins University. He worked with children in several different capacities and worked as a psychologist assistant under his father.

Chris was smart, fun-loving and energetic. He loved camping, hiking and playing music the most. He also enjoyed art, woodworking and landscaping.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol Denise Murray; sons David Murray and Donald Perry; grandson Isaak Perry; parents Edward and Mona Murray, and his siblings, Monica Hobaugh, Alisa Karl, and Mark Murray. He was preceeded in death by his brother David Murray.
