Cheryl L. Fillo passed away on April 24, 2021, at her home in Wynoochee Valley, Montesano, Washington.

Cheryl was born Jan. 29,1956, in Fort Worth, Texas. Graduated from Villa Park High School in Orange, California. After moving to Shelton, Washington Cheryl worked as a correctional sergeant for Washington State Department of Corrections with 27 years of service before she retired.

She loved being outdoors, enjoyed fishing and mushroom picking. She was also devoted to her church, where she served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher. Cheryl was best known for her kindness to others. She always listened without judgment and had a kind word to say to support others.

Her family brought her great joy in life.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Don Fillo of Montesano, Washington; her mother Ann Mullins of Shelton, Washington; her children, Shane Sullivan of Shelton, William Sullivan of Shelton and Hattie Sullivan of Montesano; six grandchildren: Wyatt, Sarah, Hanna, Grace, Aspen and River; and her sisters Carol Perry of Silverdale, Washington and Rachelle Madrigal of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her father James Mullins, sister Sandy Branner, and her brother Rick Mullins.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed but not forgotten.
